Gerald R. Ford International Airport
2023

An award winning  airport located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Committed to connecting its community to destinations worldwide, the airport's rebrand was aimed to not only update their look, but to give them a more distinguished one. The ‘bird’ is intended to be playful as travel can often be, while also feeling safe and inviting for people who may be new to flying.

Along with the rebrand, the airport was also in need of a new wayfinding system. The airport has expanded in recent years, and has found a need for a more robust system that better distinguishes between different umbrellas of services that the airport provides.




Good Kimchi
2025

Good Kimchi is a startup based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Currently being sold in over a dozen stores in West Michigan, two restaurants, and orders with multiple colleges. The label and branding is meant to feel simple, honest and playful. While kimchi has been around for thousands of years, it has recently gained popularity in US markets. We aim to bring kimchi into households that may not be familiar with the product, or just want a product made of ingredients that are as simple and honest as the brand itself.



Dive
2023

A mobile application and service aimed to help local bars, restaurants and cafés engage with their customers. As a digital experience that caters to small businesses within food service and hospitality, Dive wants to level the playing field for businesses that don’t have the resources for digital advertising, robust websites, and consistent means of letting their community know about what kind of specials they are running or events they are hosting. Social media sites have become the default for many businesses, but these often feel cumbersome and rely on a  follower count in order to be effective. 

Dive is easy to use and accessible to any small business owner, while being quick and convenient for the user to find an exciting activity or new restaurant to check out near them.






ArtEtc.
2023

ArtEtc. (Art Et Cetera) is a conceptual service created to provide a more engaging and intimate viewing experience for art museum guests. Made for anyone who has an interest in art and art history, ArtEtc. can provide information for people of all knowledge bases. The service is made up of a website, application, and periodic publications. The website is the home for learning about upcoming exhibitions, new galleries, or new collections coming to a museum. The publications are created as brief but intimate art history lessons, capturing specific time periods or art movements. The application is many things, but most importantly,  is a companion for the art museum experience. Allowing the user to scan any work of art to learn more about its significance, techniques used, or motifs.


The Self
2023

A modern interpretation of Eastern Philosophies. The Self is a book that encompasses topics like Zen Buddhism, meditation, and personal growth. The general themes of Mind, Body and Spirit are available to anyone regardless of their demographic.

The book itself has a contemporary feel while still paying homage to the place  its ideas originate from, a direct reflection of its contents. Simplicity, clarity, and focus. The design featured on the spine and cover of the book is inspired by Zen garden patterns, encompassed by white space to create a calm sense of focus that echoes the main themes of the book.


Muskegon Community College
2023

A junior college located in Muskegon, Michigan. Muskegon Community College offers a high-level education at an affordable price. The rebrand was aimed to modernize the college's image, and improve the schools perception in Muskegon and west Michigan. This is all to help align with the schools current mission to expand their programs and gain more exposure.

The rebrand has the intended feel of accessibility with sophistication. The new logo gives a nod to the school's former wordmark while still bringing in what feels like an entirely new look. As a comprehensive rebrand, the new look features a new logo and wordmark, an updated color palette, and new typography to present the school in a more contemporary light.




Aura Skincare
2023

A line of skincare products marketed towards a female audience ages 18–24. Aura provides a product that uses high-quality ingredients at a reasonable price point. The design of the products is intended to evoke a warm, colorful ambience to catch the eye of a potential customer. Following a common format of a 3-piece set of facial products, an effective and comprehensive way to bring new customers into the world of Aura. 





Sentient
2023

A conceptual skateboarding and lifestyle brand comprised of a brick-and-mortar and a magazine. Sentient was designed with teenagers and young adults in mind, ages 16-24. The sport of skateboarding has a strong relationship with the aesthetics that it perpetuates. As the sport has evolved so has this aesthetic, and while there will always be a rough-n-tough look associated with the sport, there has been a recent shift to a more simplified apporach to the visual language associated with the sport. Sentient magazine is a response to a change in look that the subculture has seen over recent years.
